Funny how we refuse to let one of our own people in because he is a communist leader, but somehow we're really happy declaring our lovely friendship with China...a communist nation.
Funny how it somehow blew pass them the fact that this old man is an old man much like his friends, albeit he is Chinese, they are Malays. But this old man unlike his friends, is not allowed back in.
Funny how they don't know that there's two sides to a war.
Funny how we plan for a change in economic focus (from industrial to service) but no one is really explaining how we're going to change.
Funny also (on that note) how one propose to change such an industrial country without affecting the people dramatically...hence, where's the blueprint?
Funny how a domestic abuse case (or a possible one) is only a personal matter and not a case for the police to investigate.
Funny how some can let a corrupt individual run the youth team and a corrupt individual run a whole state but refuse to acknowledge a by-election which is, one could say, more democratic than any form of corruption.
Funny how a newspaper which sows hatred and racism is given a mere slap on the wrist after having caused 3 persons to be held under ISA for nothing but some gets banned for much less.
It's just funny how things are.

Wan, u knw what's funnier? a certain former strong supporter (and quite a leader) of the c party is now blissfully living in Sarawak, after being given a huge piece of land by ntah sapa2. (paham2 je la). The real issue is
to me, jgnla double standard. Tak nak kasi masuk sorang, then tak payah masuk la semua. Ni ade kasi masuk, ade tak kasi masuk. ape hal (bukan la aku kesah pun die masuk ke tak).
And si bekas ex-leader yg duduk sini ni kaya raya plak tu..haih.
p.s. and seriously, i dont geddit. My dad was reading the papers about those perajurit2 lama yg berjuang menentang communist kan..pastu mereka sayu2 cakap hilang kaki sume kan. Of which, i symphatizes. A lot. But then my dad said ' well, u were a soldier, u r paid to fight for the country. It's part of your job. of course, it is not in the job specs that u lose ur limbs or become traumatize, but it is expected. and anticipated. Perlu ke gune emosi2 begini nk tangani issue?'. Hah. my dad was so pissed by the manipulation of the issue. Sorry if u dont agree. I myself thought it was pretty harsh, but he claimed tht he got it from a blogger.hehehe. Kau ker blogger itu? i did tell him to read ur blog, though.
haha i can't connect your facts with any face cos i'm not familiar with sarawak politics...or is it?
i kinda agree with your dad...not that i don't appreciate the soldiers tapi they were in a war and like i said, there's two sides to the coin...lagipun the British are famous for blowing things out of proportion back then and they did it with the communist and used UMNO anyway...i believe so...heh.
